Micro-Grant Business Awardee Success

The MicroEnterprise Program was created to help forward-thinking, strategic entrepreneurs grow their operations through the use of grants that range from $2,500 to $25,000. Participating businesses receive continued support through vital business development resources and auxiliary programs. Applicants are added as a county vendor, presenting greater opportunities and public exposure. All of this support helps participating businesses remain in business.

Local Foreign Company Job Creation, Retention and Investment

Long-term investment in Montgomery County from local foreign-owned companies retains current jobs but also creates new jobs and contributes to our workforce and economy. 

Dislocated Worker Program Employment and Earnings

The goal of the Dislocated Worker Program is to ensure people can achieve long-term employment. After a person finds a job, we follow-up with each employer after six months and one year past the hire date to check on the status of the employee and to get wage data. These numbers tell us how many people are staying employed after getting trained. We confirm the data with Bureau of Labor Statistics wage information.

The wage data is important because we want to ensure that our participants are succeeding in livable-wage jobs.

Adult Worker Program Employment and Earnings

The goal of the Adult Worker Program is to ensure people can achieve long-term employment.
